MPAC Reminder: Review Your School Support Designation by June 1, 2026

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is encouraging Ontario residents to review and update their school support designation before June 1, 2026.

Keeping this information up to date helps ensure accurate details are provided to Elections Ontario in advance of the Municipal and School Board Elections on October 26, 2026.

Your school support designation determines which school board you are eligible to vote for during municipal and school board elections.

What Residents Should Do

Residents are encouraged to:

  • Review their current school support designation

  • Make any necessary updates with MPAC before the June 1 deadline

MPAC has created a dedicated School Support Designation webpage with step-by-step guidance, FAQs, and helpful resources to make the process simple.

Ensuring your information is accurate now will help avoid issues when it’s time to vote this October.
